Mark S. Leach, 57, of North Vernon died at 4 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2020, at home.
A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted Monday, January 13, 2020, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Jonathan Meyer will officiated. Burial was at Vernon Cemetery. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service was entrusted with arrangements.
Mr. Leach owned and operated Mark's Car Brite for 29 years. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus 1631. Mr. Leach was an avid UK fan as well as a Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and swimming in his pool in the summer. Mr. Leach loved spending time with his family and friends as well as his hour of adoration in the Adoration Chapel at St. Mary's.
Born on October 28, 1962, in Seymour, Mr. Leach was the son of Duard Holmes and Nora Jean Beuhler Leach. He was united in marriage to Cara Bott October 18, 1986, and she survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include daughters, Autumn (Vince) Yeager of Westport and Cassie Leach of Indianapolis; son, Brock Leach of North Vernon; brother, David (Linda) Leach of North Vernon; sisters, Mary Barlow of North Vernon and Lisa Butler of Florida; and grandchildren, Carter, Owen, and Noah.
Mr. Leach was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James and Mike Leach.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Mary's School.
