Robert "Bob" Matthew Cywinski Jr., 67, of Butlerville died at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at his residence.
Funeral services were Monday, September 9, 2019, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life was held in Columbus at the Moose Lodge immediately following the services.
Mr. Cywinski graduated from Seneca High School in Louisville, Kentucky in 1971 and served in the National Guard. He worked as a Tool and Die maker for over 30 years with one of his employers being Kamman's Tool and Die in North Vernon. He attended Crossroads Community Church in Jennings County, and was a former member of the #398 Moose Lodge in Columbus. Mr. Cywinski was a UK fan and enjoyed playing euchre and cornhole, fishing, camping, and listening to rock-and-roll music.
Born March 9, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Cywinski was the son of Robert M. Cywinski Sr. and Lona Preston Cywinski.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn (John) Staples of Butlerville; sister, Debbie (John) Masden of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren including three locally, Susan Staples of Versailles, and Nathaniel and Sean Staples, both of Butlerville.
Mr. Cywinski was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Mr. Cywinski through the funeral home to the Parkinson's Foundation.
