Nyra Delores Holdreith, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky died at 5:58 a.m. Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019, with Father Bill Turner officiating. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport was been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Holdreith had been employed at the Jennings County Extension Office for nine years and was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffersonville. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Born October 12, 1930 in Marion, Illinois, Mrs. Holdreith was the daughter of Dewey and Mary Belle Conley Roberts. She married Thomas P. Holdreith April 13, 1957, in Dearborn, Michigan. He preceded her in death September 16, 1993.
Survivors include children, Thomas (Pat) Holdreith of Madison Heights, Michigan, Susan (Phil) Irwin of Warren, Michigan, Pete (Kathy) and Paul Holdreith, both of Westport, Kimberly (Tom) Kimsey of Louisville, Kentucky, and Mary Beth Campbell of Flint, Michigan; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Holdreith was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Brian Holdreith; and a brother, Bobby Ray Roberts.
