Donna R. Lizenby, 78, of Scottsburg died Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at Hickory Creek of Columbus.
Funeral services were Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg with Phil LaMaster officiating. Interment was at Scottsburg Cemetery.
Ms. Lizenby graduated in 1959 from Scottsburg High School and retired from the benefits and accounting department of Cummins Engine Company in Columbus where she worked for 30 years. She was also a former employee of Century 21 Investigation and Farm Bureau Insurance Company. Ms. Lizenby was a former member of the Ladies of the Moose, Westwood Golf Course, and Ladies Golf League. She enjoyed bowling, participating in bowling leagues and was an avid Bridge player.
Born August 10, 1941, in Scottsburg, Ms. Lizenby was the daughter of Emerson Lee Richey and Charlotte M. LaMaster Richey.
Survivors include daughters, Kim Felix of New Albany and Angie D. Owens of Columbus; sister, Dianne L. Hahn of Scottsburg; brothers, Henry M. (Shirley) Richey of Paris Crossing, Larry D. (Barbara) Richey of Lexington, and Rex A. Richey of Scottsburg; grandchildren, Sean (Morgan) Riley, Natalie (Justin) Riley-Heiner, and Karley and Alex Owens; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Lizenby was preceded in death by brothers, Mark and Emerson Richey; sister, Deborah Rae Richey; and infant great-granddaughter, Eden Rose Heiner.
