Lloyd Fox, 69, of Madison died Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at 5:25 p.m. at his residence.
Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 10, at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Madison. Chaplain Wayne Edwards officiated. Interment followed at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison. A final salute was given by members of Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 American Legion. Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison was entrusted with arrangements.
Mr. Fox, a 1969 graduate of Madison Consoli-dated High School, was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion and the Madison VFW Post No. 1969. Mr. Fox enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Born November 8, 1949, Mr. Fox was the son of Richard Lee Sr. and Thelma Randolph Fox Kingan.
Survivors include a son, David Austin of Madison; daughter, Laura (John) Grayson of Madison; grandchildren, Thomas, Jonathan, Lexus, Nikki, and Dakota; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Ruth Ann Jacobi) Jr. and David Fox, both of Madison, and Leonard (Susie Buchanan) of Canaan, and Leon (Mary Ann) Fox of Brooksburg; and sisters, Mary (Bob) Grove of Van Wert, Ohio, Thelma (Rodney) Wilson of Deputy, and Hazel Cunningham of Madison.
Mr. Fox was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eddie Fox.
