Penny Ann Reamer, 53, of North Vernon died Monday, October 8, 2018, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Funeral services for Mrs. Reamer will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Mike Biggs officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Friday, October 12, 2018, from 11 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Dillsboro.
Mrs. Reamer worked as a CNA at Dillsboro Nursing Home and Jennings County Health Care. She attended six years of college at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky where she studied Phlebotomy. Mrs. Reamer enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching crime shows, and soap operas. She really loved spending time with her grandkids.
Mrs. Reamer was born March 9, 1965 in Kentucky. She married James Reamer July 6, 1990, in Ashland, Kentucky. He survives.
Surviving with her husband are children, Johnathan Young of Norwalk, Ohio, Jessica Young of Ohio, Amanda (Jacob) Riffel and James Reamer, Jr., both of North Vernon, and Crystal Reamer of Aurora; brothers, John Hillis of Burling Heights, Ohio and Mike Cocho of West Virginia; sisters, Linda Turner of West Virginia and Amy Reitzel of North Carolina; grandchildren, David "Scooter" Burton of Indianapolis, Emberly and Brianna Riffel and Haley and Paisley Young-Riffel, all of North Vernon and many other grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
