Penny Ann Reamer, 53, Dove-Sharp & Rudicel

Penny Ann Reamer, 53, of North Vernon passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018, at her residence.

Born March 9, 1965 in Kentucky. She married James Reamer on July 6, 1990, in Ashland, Kentucky. He survives.

Mrs. Reamer worked as a CNA at Dillsboro Nursing Home and Jennings County Health Care. She attended 6 years of college at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky where she studied Phlebotomy. Mrs. Reamer enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching crime shows, and soap operas. She really loved spending time with her grandkids.

Surviving with her husband, James "Old Man Reamer", are sons, James Reamer Jr of North Vernon and Johnathan Young of Norwalk, Ohio; daughters, Amanda (Jacob) Riffel of North Vernon, Jessica Young of Ohio and Crystal Reamer of Aurora; brothers, John Hillis of Burling Heights, Ohio and Mike Cocho of West Virginia; sisters, Linda Turner of West Virginia and Amy Reitzel of North Carolina; grandchildren, David "Scooter" Burton of Indianapolis, Emberly Riffel, Haley Young-Riffel, Paisley "Pay Pay" Young-Riffel, Brianna Riffel, all of North Vernon and many other grandkids; sister-in-law, Jackie Deckard of Moores Hill; nieces, April Tichenor and Brandy Webster both of Moores Hill and many other nieces and nephews and best friend, Iletta Johnson of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service for Mrs. Reamer will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Mike Biggs officiating. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, October 12, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
