William S. McClure, 68 enjoyed time outdoors
William Shelby McClure, 68, of Deputy died Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 3:30 a.m. at Robley Rex Veterans Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
Final salute will be Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. with Chaplain Stan Henry and Post 9 of the American Legion at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Madison. Interment will follow at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison. Friends may visit Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from 1 p.m. until time of services at the chapel. Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison was entrusted with arrangements.
Mr. McClure was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War. He was a machine operator and builder for Reliance Electric retiring after 32 years of service. He had also installed seamless guttering for 11 years. Mr. McClure enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was of the Methodist faith.
Born November 5, 1949, in Madison, Mr. McClure was the son of Norval Glenn and Helen Medlen McClure.
Survivors include a son, William S. McClure of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter, Angela M. Sheffield of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren; great-granddaughter; three brothers; and three sisters.
Mr. McClure was preceded in death by his parents.
