Ronnie Dean Hercamp at Cummins 4 decades
Ronnie Dean "Herk" Hercamp, 75, of Seymour died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at home.
Funeral services were held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour Monday, March 12, 2018, with Rev. Brien Stout officiating. Entombment was at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
Mr. Hercamp was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Eagles. He retired from Cummins after over 40 years of service. Mr. Hercamp liked watching college basketball, golf, NASCAR, and the History Channel. He also enjoyed playing cards and bingo, cooking, and family gatherings.
Born in Seymour October 9, 1942, Mr. Hercamp was the son of Bill and Edna Dietz Hercamp.
On July 22, 1983, in Seymour, he married Jill Janine Tracey.
Survivors include his children, Jeremiah "J.T." (Tami) Sturgeon, Megan (Eric) Gresham, Patrick, Ryan (Gretchen), and Spencer (Adrienne) Hercamp and Missy (Tim) Robinson; grandchildren, Logan, Jake, Toby, Kaden, Averie, and Miles Dean; a great-grandchild; brother, Bill Hercamp, Jr.; and sister, Carol Thompson.
Mr. Hercamp was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
