Fanny B. Henry, 91, of Crothersville died at 11:15 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.
Pastor Bill Judd will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018, at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Crothersville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018, and after 10 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018, all at the funeral home. On Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. the Crothersville Ladies Auxiliary will be conducting a memorial service in honor of Fanny's years of service.
Mrs. Henry worked at the former U.S. Shoe Corporation in Crothersville and retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1982. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Crothersville and Crothersville VFW Post #1083 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, and most of all spending time with her family.
Born October 5, 1926 in Munfordville, Kentucky, Mrs. Henry was the daughter of Virgil and Fanny Shaw Bush. On April 19, 1946 in Manchester, she married Glen Henry who survives.
In addition to her husband, other survivors include children, son, Glenn (Linda) Henry of Crothersville and daughter, Donna Ann (Bill) Judd of Carmel; four grandchildren; one foster grandchild eight great-grandchildren; four foster great-grandchildren; siblings, Lottie (Brick) Sentz of Crothersville, Larue (Virgie) Bush of Charlestown, and Sam Bush of Scottsburg.
Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jim, Elzie, and Bud Bush.
