Juanita M. Malone, 90 retired back in 1982
Juanita Mildred Malone, 90, of Elizabethtown died at 2:49 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus with Rev. Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus.
Mrs. Malone worked at Arvin Industries in Columbus and then worked at R.C.A. in Bloomington. She retired in 1982. Mrs. Malone enjoyed music played by relatives at get-togethers, cooking, laughing, and spending time with family.
Born in Albany, Kentucky, Mrs. Malone was the daughter of Finley (Ottis) and Pauline Willen. She married James E. Malone and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Kathryn Redwood of California, Judy C. Bryant of Columbus, and John D. Malone of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, John and Steve George, Shelly, Jason, Mike, Justin, and James Malone, Shanon Carman, and Lisa Wright; several great-grandhilcren; great-great-grandchildren; and great-great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Malone was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Rev. Prentis "Bud" and James H. Willen; sisters, Mary Ferril, Imagene Alexander; and son, James E. Malone Sr.
