Franklin D. Chapman worked as repairman
Franklin D. Chapman, 76, of North Vernon died Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Schneck Medical Hospital in Seymour.
Memorial services will be Sunday, December 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Queensville Community Church. He had donated his body to the Anatomical School of Science in Indianapolis.
Mr. Chapman had been a mechanic, and a repairman for auto body, small engines, TV, and radio. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Born May 5th, 1940, in Glomour, Kentucky, Mr. Chapman was the son of Clinton and Elizabeth Chapman.
Survivors include his former wife, Lucrecia Chapman; daughters, Brenda (Jim) Patrick of Freetown, Linda (Daryl) Brewer of Seymour, and Scarlett Chapman of North Vernon; grandchildren, Stetson and K.C. Lowry, Mikala Owens, Rebecca Willhite, and Daryl Lee Caine Brewer; and sisters, Bonnie (Lloyde) Hall, Phyllis (Jack) Apsley, and Opal Asher.
Mr. Chapman was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
