Ronald Dean Harrison had a passion for music
Ronald Dean Harrison, 55, of Columbus died Monday, November 6, 2017.
Funeral services were Friday, November 10, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Jerry Lowman officiating. Burial, with military honors, was at Vernon Cemetery.
Mr. Harrison graduated from Edinburgh High School in 1980 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for Arvin Industries Gladstone plant, Lovelace Electric, and was manufacturing controls/application engineer at Novolex/Hilex Poly. He had a passion for music and had played in bands, most recently Back in the Day. He was also a woodworker and built multiple electric guitars.
Born on July 21, 1962, Mr. Harrison was the son of Martha and Gary Harrison.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly Wheeler Harrison; his parents; daughters, Cortney Huff and Shaley (Jeff) Wright; and sister, Vicki (Jeff) Clements.
Mr. Harrison requested that donations of a musical instruments or music lessons be made to a child or a musical institution.
