Robert E. Hubbard, Sr. passes away Sunday
Robert Earl Hubbard Sr., 58, of Scipio died Sunday, August 6, 2017, in Scipio.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, August 10, 2017, from 10 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be at Baldwin Cemetery in Vernon with member of the V.F.W. providing military graveside rites.
Mr. Hubbard, a veteran of the U.S. Army, was employed as a forklift driver for Faurecia. He had previously worked at N.V.I.C. and Decatur Mold. Mr. Hubbard enjoyed cooking, fishing and riding motorcycles.
Born June 11, 1959 in Seymour, Mr. Hubbard was the son of Earl and Alice Campfield Hubbard. He married Anita Snyder June 14, 2014 in Scipio and she survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include sons, Randall (Sheryl Kreutzjans) Hubbard of Butlerville, Robert Earl (Crystal) Hubbard Jr., Michael (Ashley) Hubbard, and Gary (Elisa) Hubbard, all of North Vernon; stepchildren, Luke Fisher of Crothersville, Sarah Fisher of Scipio, and Maggie (Randall) Moore of Vallonia; sister, Karen (Floyd) Trowbridge of Scipio; grandchildren, Joseph Hubbard of Butlerville, Faith Hubbard of Hayden, Jersey Hubbard of Jeffersonville, Peyton, Brylee, Kaiden, Virginia, Gary, Jasmine and Aadyn Hubbard, all of North Vernon; and five step-grandchildren.
Mr. Hubbard was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lisa Proffitt.
