Franklen D. Chapman, 76, of North Vernon died Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Schneck Medical Hospital in Seymour.
Mr. Chapman donated his body to the Indiana School of Medicine. There will be a memorial service at the Queensville Community Church at a later date.
Mr. Chapman had been a mechanic, and a repairman for auto body, small engines, TV, and radio. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Born May 5th, 1940, in Glomour, Kentucky, Mr. Chapman was the son of Clinton and Elizabeth Chapman.
Survivors include his former wife, Lucrecia Chapman; daughters, Brenda (Jim) Patrick of Freetown, Linda (Daryl) Brewer of Seymour, and Scarlett Chapman of North Vernon; grandchildren, Stetson and K.C. Lowry, Mikala Owens, Rebecca Willhite, and Daryl Lee Caine Brewer; and sisters, Bonnie (Lloyde) Hall, Phyllis (Jack) Apsley, and Opal Asher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
