Larry Leon Dorsey Sr., 68, of Seymour died Saturday, April 15, 2017, at home.
A celebration of life is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Crothersville Christian Church.
Mr. Dorsey worked at Aisin USA for 20 years and then worked at Honda Manufacturing of Indiana for six years before retiring. He was a prankster and loved playing jokes on co-workers and family. He attended Christ Baptist Church in North Vernon.
Born August 15, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Dorsey was the son of Ada Hayden Dorsey. On June 9, 1985, he married Margle Patterson, who survives in Seymour.
In addition to his wife, survivors include children, Larry (Michelle) Dorsey Jr. of Clarksville, Tennessee, Thomas (Gretchen) Dorsey of Greenfield, Dawn (Robert) Wasyleski of Schuyler, New York, Curtis (Kim) Tyler of North Vernon, and Tracy (James II) Harvey and Sonja White, of Seymour; sisters, Barbara (Rusty) Reynolds and Peggy (Lump) Colwell of Crothersville; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Dorsey was preceded in death by his mother; a son, Blake Tyler; sisters, Joann Bonila, June Patrick, and Janice Gonzales; and brothers, Darryl and Sonny Dorsey.
