Carolyn Lee M. Maynard active in the Eastern Star
Carolyn Lee Mundt Maynard, 71, of Hanover died Monday, September 1, 2014, at 7:50 p.m. at Clark County Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Phil Meredith and Tony Mahan officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Hanover Chapter No. 525 Order of Eastern Star will conduct services at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home Thursday. Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery in Madison.
Ms. Maynard was a graduate of Southwestern High School and had been employed with Reliance Electric Company in Madison, retiring after 29 years. She was of the Presbyterian faith and a 25 year member of Hanover Chapter No. 525 Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading and going to yard sales.
Born November 4, 1942, in Madison, Ms. Maynard was the daughter of Robert Dennis and Leola Mae Handlon Mundt.
Survivors include a son, Ronald (Michelle) Hooker of Eleanor; brothers, Jack Mundt and Bryan (Sara) Crafton, both of Hanover; sisters, Janet (Phillip) Meredith of Hanover, Joy (Eugene) Furnish of Scottsburg; and Brenda (Roger) Bickers of Madison; and grandchildren, Kyle, Brandon, and Aaron Arney.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Maynard was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Eveleen Hooker; stepfather, Robert Crafton; and grandparents, Elmer and Mary Alice Handlon and Algie and Nancy Mundt.
