Caryn Angela Jenkins, 46 will be interred Tuesday
Caryn Angela Jenkins, 46, of North Vernon died at 10 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Roger Hearne officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Vernon Cemetery.
Mrs. Jenkins worked for Dr. J. Michael Frische, O.D. in Seymour in the medical billing department. She was a member of Vernon Baptist Church and was a graduate of Jennings County High School. She enjoyed shopping, making crafts, interior decorating, gardening, watching Duck Dynasty, going to the beach, and spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
Born December 21, 1967, in Seymour, Mrs. Jenkins was the daughter of Marilyn Scroggins Moore and the late Andrew B. Beam. She married Lyman Jenkins on March 28, 2009 in Brownstown and he survives.
In addition to her husband, survivors include sons, Clayton Vogel of North Vernon and Kyle (Whitney) Vogel of Butlerville; daughter, Cirstyn (Jerad) Perry of North Vernon; her mother of Ocala, Florida; her mother, Jane Beam, of North Vernon; brothers, Curtis Beam of Toledo, Ohio and Rick (Inez) Shouse of San Jacinto; sisters, Brenda (Gerry) Lauderbaugh of Dupont, Patsy (Mark) Shouse of Vevay, Debbie Zollman of Madison, and Jennifer Heath of Ocala, Florida; grandchildren, Bentley Perry of North Vernon and Luke Vogel of Butlerville.
Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her father; her first husband, Gregory Vogel; a brother, Craig Beam; and mother, Sue Corya Beam.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
