Edward Arnold Elliott, 64 a native of West Virginia
Edward Arnold Elliott, 64, of North Vernon died at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Jennings Health Care Center.
In keeping with Mr. Elliott's wishes he donated his body to science at the Forensic Anthropology Center at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services were entrusted with the local arrangements.
Mr. Elliott was a life-long self-employed construction worker. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1970. He was a member of AmVets Post #7.
Born April 11, 1950 in Huntington, West Virginia, Mr. Elliott was the son of Richard and Bertie Black Elliott.
Survivors include his children, Richard (Kathy) Elliott and Angela Gibson both of Madison, Pamela Bair of Houston, Texas, and Sarah Elliott of Virginia; brothers, Richard Elliott of Houston, Texas, Donald Elliott of Butlerville, Robert Elliott of Madison, and William Elliott of Royston, Georgia; sister, Minnie Davenport, of Royston, Georgia; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Raymond Charles Elliott; and a sister, Barbara Ross.
