David Wayne Hukill, 52 spent 20 years in military
David Wayne Hukill, 52, of Colorado, died Friday, July 4, 2014, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Graveside services will full military honors will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Visitation will be from 8 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at The Springs Funeral Services in Colorado Springs, Colorado. There will be a celebration of life Thursday at his home.
Mr. Hukill retired from 20 plus years in the U.S. Army, and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree in project management and his Master's Degree in business administration from Colorado Technical University. He currently was the Lead Safety Technician for the National Institute of Stan-dards and Technology (NIST) in Boulder, Colorado.
Born March 5, 1962 in Seymour, Mr. Hukill was the son of Richard Hukill and Martha Thompson Hukill.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela C. Hukill; two sons, Joshua Hukill and Colton Long; two daughters, Ashley Hukill and Rachel Long; his mother, Martha Hukill; and sisters, Cathy Brown and Connie Littlejohn.
Mr. Hukill was preceded in death by his father; and a daughter, Amber Hukill.
The family is asking that donations be made to a trust fund for Mr. Hukill's grandchildren at DAVEHUKILLMEMORIAL.MYDAGSITE.COM.
