Vickie Lynn Huntsman, 66 enjoyed being homemaker
Vickie Lynn Huntsman, 66, of North Vernon died at 8:35 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.
Graveside services were Friday in the Vernon Cemetery with the Rev. Lonny Goen officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Mrs. Huntsman was a homemaker and a 1965 graduate of Columbus North High School. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing on the computer, washing dishes, and spending time with her family.
Born May 9, 1948, in Columbus, Mrs. Huntsman was the daughter of Cecil and Juanita Donnell Branum. She married Brownie "Joe" Huntsman on October 12, 1968 in Columbus and he survives.
In addition to her husband, survivors include daughters, Rachel (Brian) Russell and Kim (Robert) Goen both of North Vernon, and Tammy (Teresa) Huntsman of Columbus; sister, Betty (Darrell) Huckabee of Columbus; grandchildren, Derek (April) Barker of Scipio, Amber (Micheal) Large of Vernon, and Blake, Hailey, and Logan Russell all of North Vernon; great-grandchildren, Colten Leasure and Bailey Barker both of Scipio, and Gabreal Large of Vernon.
Mrs. Huntsman was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Branum; and grandparent, Stella Donnell.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
