Mildred Deloris Zuch Pruett, 84

Mildred D. Zuch Pruett was a minister's wife

Mildred Deloris Zuch Pruett, 84, of Hanover died at her home Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 11:01 p.m.

Funeral services will be Saturday at noon at Mor-gan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Rev. Don Pruett, Pastors David Leland, and Jeff Ludtke officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Park Cemetery in Fairmount.

Mrs. Pruett graduated from New Waterford High School in New Waterford, Ohio in 1947, attended Asbury College and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from God's Bible School in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1952. She worked at Wesleyan Church World Headquarters in Marion and retired from Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was a supporter of her husband's ministry for over 40 years in Indiana, Kentucky, and North Carolina. Mrs. Pruett was a member of First Wesleyan Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and attended West Madison United Methodist Church in Madison. Mrs. Pruett enjoyed reading, growing violets, cooking, and spending time with the family.

Born August 13, 1929, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, her parents were Samuel Willis and Margaret Belle Guy Zuch. She married Rev. Donald L. Pruett August 8, 1953, at Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Rogers, Ohio. He survives. Other survivors include children, Robynn Wolf-schlag of Castle Rock, Colorado, Karen (Chip) Mitchener of Fairmount, and James (Leah) Pruett of Madison; grandchildren, James and Connor Mitch-ener, Amelia Koehler, Christi (Carl) Risk, and Justin (Tayna) Wolfschlag; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Burton of Terre Haute and Tillie Cattrell of Columbus, Ohio; and brother, Burt (Rose) Zuch of Rosedale.

Memorial contributions to The JESUS Film Project or Blanket of Hope Society through the funeral home.
