Jeremie Ernest Cardinal had 6 sons, 2 daughters
Jeremie Ernest Cardinal, 41, of North Vernon died Sunday, May 4, 2014 in North Vernon.
Funeral services were Wednesday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial was at the Vernon Cemetery.
Mr. Cardinal, a 1991 graduate of Jennings County High School, worked as a press operator for GeCom in Greensburg for seven years and had previously worked for Decatur Plastics, N.A.C., Erler Industries, and Seymour Tubing. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, riding A.T.V., R.C. Cars and being outdoors.
Mr. Cardinal was born May 23, 1972 in Columbus, the son of Ernest and Diana Perdue Cardinal. He married Michele Clarkston on April 20, 2001 in Vernon and she survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include six sons, Joseph, Martin, Dillon, and Dalton Cardinal, and Christopher O'Dell, all of North Vernon, and Devin Cardinal of Tennessee; daughters, Kristen Cardinal of Indianapolis and Brittany Cardinal of North Vernon; his parents of North Vernon; grandparents, Bonnie Cardinal of North Vernon and Faye Chamberlin of Columbus; two sisters, Bonnie Blessing of Seymour and Tina (Christopher) Bower of Scipio; and one granddaughter, Kenleigh Cardinal of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charlie Cardinal, Bill Chamberlin, Joseph Perdue and James E. Parks.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Southeast Mental Health in North Vernon.
