William Paul Meredith, 71 liked buiding model cars
William "Bill" Paul Meredith, 71, Hanover, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 10:14 p.m. at Hosparus Inpatient Unit of Norton Pavilion, Louisville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Madison with Pastor Joel Almaroad officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison and Wednesday from 12 noon until time of the service at the Grace Baptist Church. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens near Madison.
Mr. Meredith retired from Trans Ash in Cincinnati and Miami, Ohio. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and enjoyed building model cars, Fixing lawn tractors, and antique cars.
Born August 31, 1942, in Madison, Mr. Meredith was the son of Paul D. and Mildred E. Phillips Meredith. He married Linda K. Perkinson on April 8, 1964, in Jefferson County. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Julie (Bradley) Thomas of Orlando, Florida; two sons, Doug (Heide) Meredith of Hanover and Terry (Kathy) Meredith of Vevay; grandchildren, Jeremy (Vanessa), Joshua, Felicia, Brittany, Hillary (Nate), Kyle (Tracey) Amanda and Brandon; five great-grandchildren; sister, Dr. Shirley Meredith of Louisville, Kentucky; and brother, Phillip Wayne (Janet) Meredith of Hanover.
Mr. Meredith was preceded in death by his parents.
