Thomas Howard Quinn, 68

Thomas Howard Quinn had lived out west til '01

Thomas Howard Quinn, 68, of Madison died Friday, March 28, 2014, at 5:58 p.m. at his home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Madison. Interment will be at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison. Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Quinn was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a psychiatric technician for the State of California and had also been a ditch rider for Mohawk Valley Irrigation in Arizona. He moved back to Madison in 2001. Mr. Quinn enjoyed bowling, fishing, gambling, playing Pogo, music, coin collecting, and frog gigging.

Born January 12, 1946, in Madison, Mr. Quinn was the daughter of Charles R. and Clara Edna Athey Quinn. Survivors include daughters, Tamara (Eric) Easter of Prescott Valley, Arizona,

Tracey (Joseph) Meng of Arlington, Texas, and Tiffany (Bill) Garner of Madison; son, Thomas Shane Howard (Heather) Quinn of Madison; grandchildren, Jonathan (Chelsea) Gesell, Michael Easter, Kyle (Bri) Garner, Melissa (Dylan) Hamilton, and Shawn Garner; great-grandchildren, Bailey Garner and Quinn Hamilton; brothers, Charles Evan "Buddy" (Dorothy) Quinn of Danville, California, John William "Johnny" Quinn of Yuma, Arizona; and Michael Casey "Mike" (Lisa) Quinn of Rohnert Park, California; and sisters, Helen Ann (Darrell) Liter of Lexington, Carolyn Jean (Ted) Whitmer of El Centro, California, Patricia Louise (Al) Quinones and Linda Kay (Richard) Bocio, all of Yuma, Arizona.

Mr. Quinn was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Cassandra Garner.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Hospital through the hospital.
