Ruthie B. Webster, 76 was well known athlete
Ruthie B. (Moon Ja Song) Webster, 76, of Columbus died at 5:30 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2014, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus.
Mrs. Webster owned and operated the Cameo Room Beauty Shop. She was an avid tennis and golf player who was well known for her playing skills.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Dec. 28, 1937, Ruthie was the daughter of Pilyong Song and Popei Song. She married Harold W. Webster. He preceded her in death Jan. 3, 2014.
Survivors include a son, Ira Barger of Columbus; daughter, Teresa Hulse of Titusville, Florida; brothers, Hwan Song of Los Angeles, California, Chan Song of Chicago, Illinois, and Sun Song of Indianapolis; sister, Sue Walzak of Newaygo, Michigan; and grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Gabrielle and Nathaniel Hulse, Tiffany Rose, Brittany McClure, Ira, Aaron, and Bryon Barger, and Leah Noote.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
