Kelley Dianne J. Davis had career as accountant
Kelley Dianne Jones Davis, 45, of Madison died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 9:45 p.m. at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Pastor J.D. Traylor officiating. Calling will be Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. and from Sunday from 12 noon until time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Brooksburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was a 1986 graduate of Southwestern High School in Hanover and earned her B.S. in accounting from Indiana University in 1996. She was controller for Lee's Inns of America and worked as an accountant for Belterra and Arvin Sango. Mrs. Davis was a sprint car racing enthusiast. She enjoyed gardening and attending antique auctions.
Born February 13, 1968 in Jeffersonville, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of Richard Jones and Judy Dean Palmer. She married Eric Davis on February 14, 1987 at the Kent Christian Church. He survives.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her father, Richard (Kay O'Neal) Jones of Vevay; mother, Judy Dean (Tom) Palmer; sister, Cami (Ryan) Heath of Fishers; and her grandfather, Carl Dean, of Nabb.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Mildred Jones, Ruby Dean and Vernon and Evangeline Palmer.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home.
