Tony Williams, 58, of Seymour died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at I.U. Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Funeral memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour with Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, Rev. Philip Bloch, Rev. James Rodriguez, and Vicar Mark Huff officiating. Friends may call at Voss Chapel in Seymour Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. and at the church Thursday after 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at a later date at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Mr. Williams, a 1973 graduate of Seymour High School, worked for the Indiana Telephone Company, Seymour, currently Verizon. He retired in 2009 as a customer service representative. was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing golf, the outdoors, and spending time with his sons and grandchildren. Mr. Williams was very particular about his yard and looked forward to Thursdays, which was the day he mowed the lawn.
Born May 11, 1955 in Seymour, Mr. Williams was the son of Don Williams and Barbara (Stuckwisch) Williams. On April 6, 1974 in Seymour, he married Margo Lynn Mundy. She survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Williams is survived by sons, Benjamin (Amber) and Nicholas (Kelly) Williams; grandchildren, Zoe, London and twins Taylor and Riley; brother, Jay Williams; and sister, Linda (Joe) Roberts.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Jo Williams.
Memorials may be written to the Foundation of Schneck Medical Center or Immanuel Lutheran Church through the funeral home.
