Bonnie L. J. Reynolds, 84 a lifelong resident of area
Bonnie L. Jordan Reynolds, 84, of North Vernon died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center in Columbus.
The funeral service was conducted at New Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Connie Barr officiating. Burial followed at the Bear Creek Cemetery south of Westport.
Mrs. Reynolds was a lifelong resident of Jennings and Bartholomew counties and graduated from Zenas High School. She had retired from Cosco in 1989 after 20 years of service. She was a member of the New Bethel United Methodist Church and VFW Auxiliary in Columbus. Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed quilting, IU basketball, Cincinnati Reds, spending time with her grandchildren, dancing and her dog "Little Bear."
Born August 11, 1929 in Jennings County, Mrs. Reynolds was the daughter of Hadley and Inez Pierce Jordan. She married Robert L. Reynolds in Westport on January 31, 1948 and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1986.
Survivors include daughters, Donna K. (Robert) Wells and Bobetta S. (Terry) Brown, all of North Vernon, Robin L. (Bruce) Parker of Columbus, and Lisa J. (Dave) Smith of Westerville, Ohio; son Mark L. Reynolds of North Vernon; sister, Peggy L. Johnson of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her son, Michael L. Reynolds.
