Nadine Layton, 85 had worked at Regal Rugs
Nadine Sullivan Layton, 85, of Seymour died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Seymour Crossing.
Private funeral services will be held. Burial will be at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
Mrs. Layton had worked for Regal Rugs in North Vernon. She was a member of the Christian Church in North Vernon and the North Vernon Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Layton enjoyed teaching sewing and helping in the sample room.
Born November 9, 1927, in Carrollton, Kentucky, Mrs. Layton was the daughter of Frank and Eva Lee Ellis Sullivan. She married Albert M. Layton on August 21, 1947 in Madison. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Norma Wallace of Dugger and Mary C. Black of Seymour; a daughter-in-law, Beth Ann Layton of Seymour; grandchildren, Bryan (Corey) Layton, Jill Marie (Bradly) Maddox and Amy and Adam Wallace; great-grandchildren, Erin Michelle and Jacob Layton and Jackson and Grace Maddox.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Layton was preceded in death by brothers, Robert W., Billy Joe and Frank Sullivan, Jr.; and a son, Bruce Edwin Layton.
