Daniel Wayne Galliher was a Vietnam veteran
Daniel Wayne Galliher, 63, of Crothersville died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
A celebration of life for Mr. Galliher will be Saturday at the Marion Township Community Center, 850 S. County Road 750W, North Vernon. No formal services are scheduled. Cremation has been entrusted to Adams Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville.
Mr. Galliher was a Crothersville High School graduate and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed shooting his guns at the gun range and retired from Valeo Sylvania in Seymour.
Born Dec. 12, 1949, in Jennings County, Mr. Galliher was the son of Wayne and Burnette Maxine (Hendricks) Galliher.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Tincher) Galliher of Crothersville; three children, Ashley and Mackenzie Galliher, both of Crothersville, and Daniel Christian (Mindy) Galliher of Scottsburg; a sister, Rebecca (Gary Bob) Allen of Crothersville; and a brother, Ricky Joe (Syvilla) Galliher of Crothersville.
His parents preceded him in death.
