David Wayne "Dave" Robertson, 52

David Wayne Robertson moved to area from Calif.

David Wayne "Dave" Robertson, 52, of Madison died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 2:56 a.m. at his home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 .m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Pastor Scott Murphy, M.D. officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Robertson was a 1979 graduate of Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, California and had attended electrician's school. He had worked as a union electrician in California, moving to Madison in 2004. Mr. Robertson had worked in maintenance for Century Tube and the past seven years at Arvin Sango. Mr. Robertson was a member of the Electricians Union in California and the Sons of the American Legion, Jefferson Post 9. He was a Christian and his hobbies included racing, especially NASCAR, boat racing, Madison Regatta, Formula One and he enjoyed Colts football.

Born September 20, 1961 in Seaford, Delaware, Mr. Robertson was the son of Kenneth D. and Clara Robinson Robertson. He married Lori Anne Wendt on May 2, 2008 in Madison and she survives.

Additional survivors include son, Kyle (Rebecca) Robertson of Lansing, Michigan; three daughters, Tiffany (Dorian) Currier of San Diego, California and Jacklyn and Catherine Robertson, both of Madison; father, Kenneth (Polly Parks) Robertson of Madison; two brothers, Kenneth (Marolyn) Robertson of Atlanta, Georgia and Brian (Kerry Jo) Robertson of Madison; sister, Sheril (Sean) Evans of Woodstock, Georgia and grandchildren, Hyde, Mackenzie, Sean, Troy and Micha.

Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his mother.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of King's Daughters' Health through the funeral home.
