Willis Mullins, 74, dies at his Austin home Oct. 9th
Willis Mullins, 74, of Austin died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral services were Sunday at Buchanan Funeral Home in Scottsburg with Rev. Bill Madden officiating. Burial was at Spurgeon Cemetery in Austin.
Mr. Mullins was a former employee of Golden Castings in Columbus.
Born January 23, 1939 in Wolf Coal, Kentucky, Mr. Mullins was the son of the late Ed and Stella Mullins.
Survivors include sons, Dan, Seth and Zeb Cornett and Junior and Anthony White, all of Austin; daughters, Pearly Jean Newton of Austin and Deborah Ruth Burnner of Independence, Kentucky; brothers, Sambo Mullins of Austin, Farmer Mullins of Paris Crossing, Ed Mullins, Jr., of Corbin, Kentucky and Wilson Mullins of Strongs Branch, Kentucky; sisters, Rosa Lee Bergstron of Arizona, Dona White and Phyllis Jean and Cathy Ann Mullins, all of Strongs Branch, Kentucky and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Florence White.
