Pauline Adkins Rogers, 58, was raised in state of Ohio
Pauline Adkins Rogers, 58, of Madison died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 4:08 a.m. at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Bro. Bob Hicks officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 p.m. to time of the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rogers was raised in Tip City, Ohio and attended school there. She moved to Madison in 1982. She had worked for many years at the old 3-D Store in Madison and had worked for Big Lots and Advance Auto Parts, also in Madison. Mrs. Rogers was of the Christian faith and enjoyed her flowers, pets and traveling to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Born August 7, 1955 in Greenup, Kentucky, Mrs. Rogers was the daughter of Clifford Adkins and Madge Coburn Adkins Gwinn. She married Cecil Thompson in 1970 and then was married to Richard L. "Dick" Rogers in Carrollton, Kentucky.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynnette (John) Roeder of Madison; stepdaughter, Krista (Joshua) Braun of North Vernon; granddaughters, Kyle, Kelsey and Lindsey Roeder; great-grandson, Carter May; step-grandchildren, Kacie Barrett and Branden Braun; step-great-grandchild, Daven Barrett; sister, Betty Weethee of Tip City, Ohio and brothers, Billy Adkins of Troy, Ohio and Paul Adkins of Tip City, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by a sister.
