William Lee Comingore of Ohio grew up here
William Lee Comingore, 81, of Dayton, Ohio died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at The Hospice of Dayton.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Kettering, 3939 Swigart Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45440 with Dr. Chad Keck and Pastor Matt Fleck officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45429. Burial will be at Mt Zion Shoup Cemetery, Beavercreek, Ohio.
Mr. Comingore was a 1950 graduate of Vernon High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Kettering where he served as Deacon for many years. He was formerly employed by Price Brothers, Platt Manufactu-ring, Dayton Reliable Tool and Weldcraft Products.
Born on June 26, 1932 in Jefferson County, Mr. Comingore was the son of Forrest F. and Grace B. Morris Comingore.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty F. Huffman Comingore; three children, Diane (Richard) Steele and Joy and Gary Comingore; two grandchildren, Rebekah (Scott) Skaroupka and Brad (Angie) Steele; five great-grandchildren, Cole and Logan Steele and Elainah, Kylah and Danikah Skaroupka.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lucille Cockerham and Carolyn Sue Hoyt.
