Ronnie Grahm Parson retired after 33 years
Ronnie Grahm Parson, 66, of North Vernon died at 7:59 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2013 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.
Memorial services are to be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Friends may call on the family from 6:30 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday.
Mr. Parson worked as a painter of industrial machines for ENVIREX in Madison retiring in 1999 after 33 years. He was a former member of the Eagles Lodge in Madison and had attended Mt. Tabor Methodist Church in Bedford, Kentucky. Mr. Parson was a 1963 graduate of Trimble County High School in Bedford, Kentucky. He enjoyed watching television, sports and his two cats.
Mr. Parson was born on November 4, 1946 in Madison, the son of Otis Parson and Dorothy (Harmon) Parson. He married Jean Hunteman on August 3, 1979 in Louisville, Kentucky. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two children, Shannon Obendorf of Libertyville, Illinois and Beth (Brad) Rice of Lebanon and three grandchildren, Rhaine Obendorf of Lafayette and Eliot and Samuel Rice, both of Lebanon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister, James Parson and Norma Sutter.
