Margaret Salb, 89, liked fishing, riding horses
Margaret C. Salb, 89, of North Vernon died at 5 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Hillcrest Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Sorrells officiating. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services were entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Salb worked in her husband's doctors Officer for 20 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jasper. Mrs. Salb was a 1941 graduate of Jasper High School in Jasper and enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses and genealogy.
Born on November 11, 1923 in Seymour, Mrs. Salb was the daughter of George and Margaret Hicks Litchfield. She married Dr. Leo Salb in Louisville, Kentucky in 1959. He preceded her in death in 1971.
Survivors include her brother Bill (Betty) Litchfield of Franklin; niece and nephew William Dale Litchfield of Saudi Arabia and Elizabeth Griffith of Palm Beach, Florida; cousin, Paul and Darlene Hicks of North Vernon and three other cousins in New York, Franklin and Chicago, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
