Frances G. Pearson, 84, worked at Regal Rugs
Frances G. Pearson, 84, of Commiskey died at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Weston Baptist Church in Jennings County. Friends may call at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. and from 12:30 p.m. until time of the service Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Tea Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Pearson worked for the former Regal Rugs in the stamping department, ran the Rug Outlet Store and was a supervisor. She retired in 1984 after 40 years of service. She was a member of Weston Baptist Church and had attended Lovett High School. Mrs. Pearson enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Born February 23, 1929 in Jennings County, Mrs. Pearson was the daughter of Ralph and Gladys Carpenter Mousa. She married Cecil Pearson on December 9, 1945 in Charleston, South Carolina. He survives.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Curtis (Geneva) Pearson of Commiskey and Russell (Shirley) Pearson of North Vernon; one daughter, Shannon (Richard) Henry of Commiskey; two sisters, Thelma (Jerry) Michaels of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Norma Jean Barnes of Commiskey; seven grandchildren, Kristofer and Jennifer Henry and Tony Pearson, all of Commiskey, Lucinda Lee Pearson of Seymour, Joshua (Mary) Finley and Brookley (Joshua Hendricks) Pearson, both of North Vernon and Brandy (Dennis) Rorabacher or Lawrenceburg and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Mousa and two sisters, Janet and Juanita Mousa.
