Nell Lee Crowley, 93, first worked at Powder Plant
Nell Lee Crowley, 93, formerly of Charlestown, died August 12, 2013 at the Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial following in the Charlestown Cemetery.
Mrs. Crowley was a former employee of the Powder Plant at Charlestown. She also worked as a cook in Bloomington, both at Indiana University and at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. She was a member of the North Charlestown Church of God.
Born on April 8, 1920 in Ohio County, Kentucky, Mrs. Crowley was the daughter of Heaverin and Corrine Dennis Bolton.
Survivors include brother Edward Earl (Dick) Bolton of Charlestown; son, Gary Dorman (Stanislavka Radoicic) Wiggins of Bloomington; grandsons, Alan Daniel (Jennifer Irwin) Wiggins of Plymouth, Michigan and Thomas Bruce Wiggins (Bloomington) and nieces including Patricia (Kelley) Wright of North Vernon.
Mrs. Crowley was preceded in death by husbands, Dorman Elmo Wiggins and Everett Crowley; brother, William Bolton and sisters, Bettie Bolton, Margaret Grace and Alberta Kelley.
