Betty Lou Geisler, 84, had family in the area
Betty Lou Geisler, 84, of Seymour died Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
A gathering of friends and family was held Friday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Interment will be at a later date at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
Mrs. Geisler, a graduate of Hughes High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, had been a homemaker and also had been employed as a secretary before and after raising her family. She was a member of IOK FourWheelers and enjoyed sewing and refinishing antiques.
Born January 12, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Geisler was the daughter of Oliver and Hilda Bommer Wenert. She married Frederick Geisler on February 22, 1947. He also died August 13, 2013.
Survivors include a son, Stanley (Debby) Geisler of Hamilton, Ohio; a daughter, Debbie (Donald) Mullins of Paris Crossing; two granddaughters, Amber Geisler and Heather (Joshua) Sharp; grandson, James (Tonya) Geisler; three great-granddaughters, Brinna, Clara and Ava Sharp and a great-grandson, Elias Sharp.
The family requests that memorials may be made through the funeral home to the donor's choice of charity.
