Rita M. Kramer, 89, was active at G'burg church
Rita M. Kramer, 89, of Greensburg died Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Waldron Health & Rehab Center in Waldron.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Greensburg. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with the family leading a rosary service following visitation on Sunday.
Mrs. Kramer was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg and a 50-year member of the St. Lawrence Auxiliary.
Born in Oldenburg on October 2, 1923, Mrs. Kramer was the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Nunlist Werner. She married Jacob Kramer on September 14, 1946. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1990.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph (Debbie) Kramer of Columbus and Charles (Carol) Kramer of Greensburg; seven daughters, Dorothy Kramer and Marietta (James) Hagerty, both of Westport, Dolores (Tom) Nielson of Columbus, Patricia (Robert) Klene, Joanne (Kenneth) Scudder, Rose (Thomas) Parker and Margie (Robert) Wood, all of Greensburg; sister, Henrietta Stein of Oldenburg; 32 grandchildren and 82 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Kramer was preceded in death by four brothers, Mathias, Leo, Joseph, and Henry Werner and three sisters, Sister Rita Agnes of Sisters of St. Francis, Gertrude Riedeman and Elenora Kramer.
