Mary Lue Lemming Klopp was born in Jonesville, Ky.
Mary Lue Lemming Klopp, 86, of Madison died at 3:45 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013 at King's Daughtersí Hospital in Madison.
Funeral services are to be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Rev. J.D. Traylor officiating. Calling is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens near Madison.
Mrs. Klopp was a 1946 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. She was employed early in life with Meyers Manufacturing in Madison and later worked as an instructional assistant with Madison Consolidated School Systems retiring after 20 years of service. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed playing cards, cooking, music and being with friends and family.
Born April 30, 1927 in Jonesville, Kentucky, Mrs. Klopp was the daughter of O'Dell and Laura Theobold Leming. She married Edward Earl Klopp on November 2, 1946 in Madison. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Tanya (John) Kelley of Hanover and Tara (John) Hamilton and Elyse (Ronnie) Taylor, all of Madison and grandchildren, Brent (Ashleigh) Hamilton and Alicia (Matt) PanKonie.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Klopp was preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn Drewry, Dolly Stoffer and Sue Mayfield.
