Steven Curtis Litzy, 24, was an artist who loved music
Steven Curtis Litzy, 24, of North Vernon died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
Funeral services were Saturday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Litzy worked for Dave O'Mara Contractors for six months. Before that he was employed with H & L Tree Trimming, Kromet, and Hilex. Mr. Litzy was a member of the 120 Laborers Union in Columbus. His hobbies included music, playing the guitar and drums. He was an artist as well as an aspiring tattoo artist and loved going to concerts.
Born January 20, 1989 in Columbus, Mr. Litzy was the son of Steven R. Litzy and Alice E. (Ogez) Perkins.
Survivors include his parents, Alice (Gary) Perkins and Steven (Patti) Litzy, both of North Vernon; sister, Crysta Litzy of North Vernon; grandmother, Katherine Litzy of North Vernon; a stepbrother, Matt (Emily) McNulty of Greensburg; three stepsisters, Randi (Chuck) Shepherd of Vernon, Jami (Jeremy) Mathis of Seymour and Sandi (Matt) Osborne of Louisville, Kentucky; step-grandparents, Ed and Sandra Kreutzjans and Helen (Hans) Johansen, all of North Vernon.
Mr. Litzy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leroy Litzy, Eddie and Patricia Ogez and Ralph Perkins.
