Shane Edward Carter, 29, enjoyed fast cars, nature
Shane Edward Carter, 29, of Lexington died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Funeral services were Monday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremations Services. Burial was in the Pisgah United Methodist Cemetery in Deputy.
Mr. Carter, a Scottsburg High School graduate, worked as a bricklayer for Sorenson Brick Layers in Vernon. He enjoyed fast cars especially the Mustang Cobra, nature, going on picnics and being with his children, family and friends.
Born on April 19, 1984 in Seymour, Mr. Carter was the son of Timothy Carter and Cynthia Epple.
Survivors include his father of Brownstown and his mother and stepfather Paul Epple of Lexington; children, Preston Shane Carter and Breonna Ranea Carter, both of Lexington; five brothers, Shawn (Cassie) and Seth (Ashley) Carter both of Scottsburg, Chance Uebel of Lexington, Matt Jackson of Seymour and Chris Jackson of Austin and grandparents, Jack and Nancy McIntosh of Commiskey, Regina McIntosh of North Vernon, Jewel Beach of Nebraska and Charles and Nancy Carter of Crothersville.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to donor's choice of charity.
