Mary Helen Kidd Willhoite, 72

Mary Helen K. Willhoite will be laid to rest at the Veterans cemetery

Mary Helen Kidd Willhoite, 72, of Hanover died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 8:59 a.m. at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Bro. Bob Hicks officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.

Mrs. Willhoite was employed at Grote Industries and had worked as a private housekeeper. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, television, dancing and her dog. Mrs. Willhoite was a member of the Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Born April 3, 1941 in Madison, Mrs. Willhoite was the daughter of John and Cora Melton Kidd. She married Robert Clayton Willhoite on December 10, 1977 at the Milton United Methodist Church. He survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Richard Lee Cole and Brian Skirvin, both of Madison and Tim Cole of Hanover; stepson, Robert Gene WIllhoite of Madison; daughter, Janet (Jeff) Lewis of Lexington; stepdaughter, Kendra Jo (Mickey) Emery of Versailles; sisters, Juanita Jumps and Wilma Stewart, both of Madison; brother, John E. Kidd of Madison; grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Brent, Kyle, Kaleb, Dalton, Brian, Michael, Jacob, Eddie Jr. and Audra; step-grandchildren, Robert Lee, Jackie and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Liam, Sam, Madelyn, Paxton, Layla, Dakota, Brandon and Mark; great-great-granddaughter, Mckenzie Mae and several step-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Willhoite was preceded in death by her parents; stepdaughter, Charlotte K. Willhoite; sisters, Margaret Koontz, Dorothy Wells, Ruth Smith and Anna Smithers and brothers, Clyde W. and George Allen Kidd.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
