David William Huy, Jr., 46, of Miss. had family here
David William Huy, Jr., 46, of Moss Point, Mississippi, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 8 a.m. at his home.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Father Christopher Craig and Father John A. Meyer officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Madison. Friends and family will gather Saturday at 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Huy lived most of his life in Jefferson County and was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He had attended St. Mary's Catholic School in North Vernon. Mr. Huy was self-employed and enjoyed working as a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters Union in Alabama and the Motorcycle Club in Moss Point. Mr. Huy enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, woodworking and carpentry.
Born April 29, 1966, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Huy was the son of David William Sr. and Linda Carol Delay Huy. They survive in Moss Point, Mississippi.
Other survivors include daughters, Olivia Huy of Hanover and Audria Viers and Heather Huy, both of North Vernon; sons, Joshua and Jeremy Huy, both of Hazard, Kentucky and Dustin Stroud of Dupont and grandchildren, Breanna, Addisyn and Haley Huy and James Viers.
Mr. Huy was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Louise Delay and Phillip and Helen Huy.
