Betty J. Schultz of Cincy leaves a daughter in NV
Betty J. Schultz, 76, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died at 4:47 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home in Columbus with the Rev. Harold Summers officiating. In keeping with her wishes cremation is planned.
Mrs. Schultz worked at and was the former owner of Whitehouse Grocery Store in Cincinnati. She enjoyed country music, shopping, going out to eat and loved spending time with family and friends.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama November 22, 1936, Mrs. Schultz was the daughter of Jake and Florence Banks.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy (Ronnie) Hignite of North Vernon; son, Scott Shultz of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Sarah Cartwright, Jason Hignite Richard and Samantha Evans and Amanda, Emily and Drew Schultz; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and brother, Jr. Banks of Alabama.
Preceding Mrs. Schultz in death was her husband, Earl Evans in 1985; son, Larry Evans; husband, Ed Schultz in 2001 and sister, Helen Evans.
