Kenneth R. Kiser, 62 was avid UK b'ball fan
Kenneth R. "Buddy" Kiser, 62, of Deputy died Monday, April 8, 2013 at 9:14 p.m. at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Rev. Mike Shuler officiating. Calling will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens near Madison.
Mr. Kiser had been employed for several years with Sandstone Industries in Madison. He was a member of the Solid Rock Community Church near Scottsburg. Mr. Kiser was an avid UK basketball fan, loved semi-tractor trailers, fishing, drawing and camping.
Born November 12, 1950 in Whitesburg, Kentucky, Mr. Kiser was the son of Hobert Kiser and Susan Juanita Lucas Kiser.
Survivors include three sisters, Brenda Wolf of Madison, Debbie (Joey) Higgins of Canaan and Shannon (Kevin) Hamilton of Deputy; five brothers, Keith (Rebecca) Kiser of Madison, Jimmy (Annetta) Kiser of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Levi, Zachary and Joshua Kiser, all of Indianapolis and a stepbrother, Ricky McIntosh of Indianapolis.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kiser was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Vann Kiser.
Memorials may be made to the Solid Rock Community Church through the funeral home.
