JC Players' 'Oz' provides royal entertainment, and then some

The monthly bluegrass and gospel music concert at the Hayden Historical Museum Pavilion will be presented starting with open stage at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14.
A cast of two dozen captured the hearts of North Vernon audiences, ferrying them to Oz last weekend. For a tantalizing 90 minutes, the Park Theatre stage was transformed from a Kansas farm into the Emerald City during the Jennings County Players' production of "Christmas in the Land of Oz."
