Sat. March 30 is Circus Day
The Indiana Historical Society (IHS) invites families to celebrate Indiana's circus tradition with its 18th annual Circus Day, a free event featuring carnival activities, live performances and access to the award-winning Indiana Experience. Circus Day takes place Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, located at 450 W. Ohio St. in downtown Indianapolis.

Legal Aid will be hold a free Legal Aid clinic Tuesday, March 19 at the Jennings County Library from 3 to 5 p.m. The free clinics are offered to low income residents.

"Music from the Heart- Music for the Soul" at First Christian Church March 20
The Philharmonic Chorus and the Columbus Indiana Children's Choir join together to present an evening of great choral music on Saturday, March 30 at First Christian Church in downtown Columbus. With an emotional focus ranging from a terrific "laughing song" by Handel to a "raise the roof" spiritual by Moses Hogan, the concert, entitled "Music from the Heart-Music for the Soul," will celebrate the beauty of human voices joined together in song.

Disability Awareness at C'bus
Join Kyndal and Jaedyn Gary at the Bartholomew County Public Library this Sunday for this Disability Awareness Month event featuring autism awareness children's books. Jaedyn reads from her book Living with Andrew and Kyndal reads from his second book Andrew's Money Woe's. Kyndal illustrated both books. Proceeds from book sales go to the Autism Society of Indiana. Purchase copies of the book at the event.

411's third exhibition features the work of Tony Vasquez - Impressions of Sound and Color, Nomad Art, and the visual communications students of Ivy Tech Community College. The exhibition suggests themes of an underground or alternative music scene, providing a creative framework for Nomad Art's site-specific installation and inspiring new work by the visual communications students. The work of Vasquez allows the viewer to experience the fleeting nature of live music along with the artist.

Muscatatuck getting ready for Wetland Day
Everyone who enjoys wildlife is invited to come out and celebrate spring at the "Wetland Day" program at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, March 16. There will be a Bird Walk at the Visitor Center at 8 am for birdwatchers of all ages and abilities. Children can participate in wetland crafts at the Visitor Center from 10 am to 2 pm and Volunteer Interpreters will be present on the Chestnut Ridge Trail to talk with visitors. A Wetland Walk will leave from the Visitor Center at 10 am. There will also be wildlife resource information available to educators during the event.

Film screening, Q&A with director at IUPUC
The IUPUC Division of Liberal Arts is hosting a free screening of the film Ghost Town to Havana on Tuesday, March 5th at 12p.m. in the Columbus Learning Center Lecture Hall. The film's director, Eugene Corr, will be on hand to discuss the film and answer questions from the audience. The event is free and open to the public.
